adaptive: 1) Lots of people are going ape-sh*t about some teams, such as the Korean RMP, Button-Bashers, (BB).  What do you think were the keys to their success?

Vrdy: The switches were the biggest contributor to their success. They weren't always these huge unexpected blow people up in one shot swaps, but they happened frequently. Their opponents were forced to use cooldowns in bad situations and they often wouldn't have anything for the following switches.

Vrdy: Against shadowcleave they caught the druid a lot with no hots, however part of the time this was the druids own fault. They also faked them into using cooldowns such as ice bound fortitude and anti magic shell when there was really little reason for them

Vrdy: Against beast cleave they did a great job kiting their cooldowns and the rogue avoided frost traps very well

adaptive: 2) What was the idea behind your counter to Beast? The announcers thought it was a bad idea, right away. Do you think they were justified, or do you think it would have worked with a little more practice? What would you have changed about it?
adaptive: (I'm talking about when you played hunter for Complexity)

Vrdy: 2. Complexity really wasn't confident vs beastcleave so we thought there was a good chance at beating them with that comp and a lot of cc on the paladin. I really do believe that if we had played just a couple hours as that comp we could have at least gone 3-2 vs them. There is some justification to the announcers comments and I can agree that you should normally try to play with your main comp

Vrdy: I suppose more practice in both situations could have led to a win.

adaptive: the announcers were also saying the particular comp you used as a counter was bad. Do you know what they were saying? Do you have a retort to that? Reckful told me upon returning from the tourney, that CompLexity started to develop a strat where Venruki sticks the hunter. However, this was only developed mid-series, and wasn't executed well-enough at that point to work.

adaptive: Can you comment on that change of strat, mid-series - the need for it, the trouble it posed, and its potential?

Vrdy: No I'm not sure exactly what they said, I imagine it was something about the comp having weakness with hots getting purged. Having sodah play a druid was probably a better move than a paladin because he could cc, be immune to hex, decurse, and the biggest one being that he is still one of the best druids in the world. I still think we could have a chance with more practice as well as figuring out

Vrdy: better strats vs them

Vrdy: The half ass strat was going more on the hunter to stop a lot of his damage and hopefully force him to go into bad positions in an attempt to get damage off

Vrdy: The potential problems could be ven getting kited into bad positions, or not being able to stick well enough to the hunter and dying
