Even back when he was Anti Parazi in a game called Asheron's Call.
I bought us the game so I could learn about the genre. My friend and I wanted to make an MMO for a certain popular kids show at the time. I'll leave something to the imagination here.
Its funny - Back then, I was always making characters trying and never leveling enough to have a chance. Until one time I did. I got to like level 100 with a melee (unarmed combat) character, which was pretty low to hang in a fight against most any mage. You'd have to actually dodge magic bolts or die in 1-2 hits (it was like a 1/2 FPS 1/2 MMO game in that you didn't have to aim, but you did have to dodge). Having watched Anti, I got pretty good and was owning the dodge and wrecking a few people even though I was a complete newb that macro'd his way through most of the levels if I recall correctly :) Anti, BTW, would sometimes wipe like 5 lvl 200s at level 97 or something, when even a 1 on 1 would be considered a great accomplishment. Was ridiculous. I remember watching him dodge arrows and bolts and spin locking melee characters all while moving towards his destination and texting 5 other people about crap. I think they still sing his glory on the VN Boards for the PvP Server, Dark Tide.
Anyhow, same happened in WoW. We started off as a couple of gnomes and we played side by side for weeks to get to like lvl 42 or something. I think we both stopped and he then rerolled. I, as usual, had my 2 weeks of insane everyday marathons into the next day, not sleeping before work etc., and then quit... I flushed and repeated this process to make another character or two. Whenever I'd stop playing, I'd feel like I'd wasted my time. Now, I've been down that leveling road so much that I know to stay away, especially when level 80 is so far away without the ridiculous macro plugin process-injection "decal" game hacks they had for Asheron's Call. Still, I would like to play alongside my little brother, like the good old days.
So, when I hear him say this and that about different classes, I listen well to where I might fit in. I'm pretty retarded when it comes to fast information processing and reaction times in MMOs, to date, but I think it is mostly unfamiliarity and not having really played to play but only to grind here and there. Suffice to say I'm looking for an easy enough yet rewarding class, to start. So it isn't really all 'archer' (hunter, Reckful pointed out :) - hate that made me create that poll, but some genuine interest. I might have overstated things a little, but hey, a little controversy riles the masses! And I do like people to know when they are playing a way OP class, too (he's at 80% health... KILL!!! :)

I've always wanted to play MMO's with Reckful.
